Are you ready?

2026 has only just begun and the sport your customers want to watch is already starting to build up. Are you ready to give them a great experience?

Whether you run a pub and want the sport showing throughout, or you run a hotel and just want a single screen in part of the bar area, there are a number of factors you need to consider…

What you need to consider

If you want to show the numerous sporting activities taking place this year to get more customers through the door, drinking and eating, have you considered:

1. Screens

Do you have enough screens around the pub for your customers? Depending on your layout, it may be difficult to see a single screen from certain points.  Multiple screens enable more people to watch comfortably without crowding one space.

2. Cabling

Do you have power and signal to where you want screens?  Hardwiring your screens so they get the TV signal will ensure there is no buffering. That little spinning circle is never popular!

3. Wi-Fi

Lots of people in the pub watching the sport will undoubtedly increase the load on your wi-fi. Can your current setup cope?

·      Is there sufficient signal throughout the pub?

·      Do you have enough bandwidth?

·      Is it secure?

·      Is it separated from your staff/company signal?

4. Table ordering

Can your customers order food and drinks from their table, or do they have to go to the bar? Being able to order will avoid the rush before the game and at half-time (depending on the sport, of course) and is likely to increase overall sales.

5. Subscriptions

Don’t leave it too late to sort out your subscriptions and public viewing license.
