Who

Janie and Jack has been putting a modern twist on classic fashion for girls, girls, boys, toddlers and babies since 2002. They have over 100 stores across the USA.

Their needs

Janie and Jack were opening their first store in the UK, on the Kings Road in London. They have their own IT team in the USA, who needed assistance in getting the comms ready in the UK store for the March opening date.

They were working with Layered, a project management company we work with for another client, and they referred us to Ali, John and Daniel.

The store needed cabling, router and switch installations and access points adding across the store. The internet connection needed to be installed too.

What we did

Clarity IT was contacted in December 2025, with the opening date set for 2nd March 2026.

With lead times being up to 90 days, the first priority was ordering the internet connection. As the store was not enabled for full fibre to the premises (FTTP), a SOGEA 80/20 connection was installed, with a full fibre line to be installed as soon as the building is enabled.

The US IT team ordered Meraki hardware for the store, but didn’t want to deliver it directly to the store, for security reasons. We were happy for all kit to be delivered to our warehouse. It was configured there before being delivered and installed in the London store.

CAT6a cabling throughout the site provides high-speed connections to:

• Data points were installed for hardwired connections to the tills and CCTV
• Access points throughout the building provided WiFi connectivity for all staff devices

The results

Working closely with AD+ Associates and the US brand HQ teams, everything was completed in time for the store to open on March 2nd.
