The Signet Collection are hotels with history, hotels with stories to tell. Each one of their hotels is imbued with generations of tales, legacies, myths and legends. they unearth this history, these stories. They restore, reimagine and pass them on for their guests to enjoy.
The first Signet Hotel was The Mitre in Hampton Court. Acquired in early 2020, needing extensive refurbishment, Clarity was asked to help. As The Retreat, The Barnsdale and The Alfriston were added to the group, similar needs were identified.
Hector Ross knew Clarity from his time working within some of our other clients, so called us in when The Mitre was acquired. Originally planned to be a gradual refurbishment over a period of months, the pandemic truncated things. As soon as we were allowed on site, the entire IT infrastructure was replaced: cabling replaced with CAT6 fibre, WiFi for guests upgraded, and much more.
As each hotel was added to the group we repeated the process, bringing each location up to the high standards expected by the Signet team and, most importantly, their guests.
In between projects Clarity provides a full IT support service to the teams, providing strategic and operational support proactively and as needed.
Each hotel has opened on time and to great reviews, with the most recent, The Alfriston, opened at the end of March 2025. One of our senior team is their IT Director in all but name and we look forward to working on future projects with them.
